16th April 2020The Spice Bazaar, Ashok Nagar, is definitely a place I will visit again as a regular customer. I attended a small get-together here. The place is designed in a little traditional and a blend of vintage style. My colleagues and I spent most of our time talking about good old school days when we did not have to worry much about our responsibilities. Approach
Situated on the Lavelle Road, The Spice Bazaar must be a mandatory visit for anyone visiting the city or even ones who already live here. If you want the flavour of India rich in your food, then this restaurant is the place for you. It offers parking facilities. And for those wanting to avail public transport can easily do so since the area is always buzzing with cabs, buses and autos.
Ambience
As mentioned earlier, dining in this particular restaurant is an affair that one should not pass on. The restaurant does impress you with its food. But what it also impresses its visitors with is the royal interiors. Wooden carved furniture, intricate Mughal paintings and windows that transport you to the palaces of the Mughal Era make up for some really fine dining experience. There's both an indoor and outdoor seating option available and if the weather is pleasant enough, you can choose to sit on the balcony like area that gives you a view of sprawling greenery. The ambiance is very opulent and you surely do feel very important as soon as you enter this place.
Food and Service
The Spice Bazaar offers some great Indian and Mughlai food. You can try their lunch buffets(which are quite reasonably priced) or go for ordering from the menu. The restaurant has a daily changing menu so there's always something new to look out for. The Shahi Tukda for the dessert is one of the best options you can go for here. The service is prompt and definitely makes the experience here worthwhile.
