Things To Know
Approach
Nothing short of amazing, Amali is a fine dining restaurant event venue and caterer based in New York, 0.8 km from The Museum of Modern Art (MoMA).
Ambience
The location is perfect, the studios are clean and beautiful, the view stunning. The place has two bathrooms, a couple different levels with stairs, a terrace with a beautiful view of the Hudson River and a back area with a couple refrigerators and plenty of space where guests can store everything that shouldn't be seen by guests. Every window you look out of provides a spectacular view of the vast city or the water. It's on the top floor of the building in the penthouse that has a guard on the first floor and two elevators.
Food and Service
The food is both interesting and delicious, which makes Amali stand out from the rest of the overpriced stalwarts of the Upper East Side. Add that up with a friendly staff and the aforementioned music selections, and you’ve got yourself a place we remain very high on, even after several years. Amali offers exceptional service and dining experiences to remember.
Known For
Ramscale Studio is a unique N.Y.C. event location that gives the client the opportunity to bring a vision to life. Amali’s name was inspired by a historical term for lands shared by modern day Greece, Italy and Turkey. In that spirit, our menu is inspired by the Mediterranean way of life and emphasizes vegetables, olive oil, cheese, grains, and fish. In keeping with the values of that dining tradition. This chic restaurant has received accolades for its planet-friendly practices from The New York Times,
